Melb Trip (visiting VM and her baby)

This time went back to Melb I surely also visited my future in-laws. And vm (Kp's sister) had just got a very cute baby who is named Zachariah Lai (the last person of old testament?) and Kheng as his Chinese name which means strength. Hence kp is now upgraded to be a big uncle..hahaha..The baby is growing fast and he currently has to wear in a size that is for 6-12 months babies...and the baby's character is very impressive, he's sooo quiet.
We were invited to vm's house in East Doncaster as well and yeah very stylish too. They bought a block with 2 old single level units on and they sold one of the them and renovated the other which is the one the Ming's family currenlt live in.

N.B. We also bought 3 pieces of summer clothing for Zach from Pumpkin Patch and I just quickly fell in love with those baby girls'outfits at the moment I enter the store. God, will You favour me by giving me a girl as my first baby? hmmm, I so much wanna name her either Amanda or Chelsea.hahaha let us see how.

A Season of Saying Merry Christmas

At such a night when all the evening lights are lit...as if they are telling me that it is the season to say Merry Christmas. And how much I wish when next time Santa come, he can meet my first kid....

Back to 2years ago (part 1)

(I know that next time I am not going to watch the sunrise in my fav city in the world alone with a title of Miss but someone's Mrs...that will be another fresh new dawn...)

K, recently I paid my last visit to Melb. When I say my last visit it means my last time visit this place in my singlehood, and after this I believe I will have to go as someone's Mrs...Well so far after I've visited so many cities and towns and corners around the world, Melb is still the most livable city in my eyes and Yeah I'm so proud that this place has become my 2nd hometown and what is more it will very likely to be the city I will stay for the most amount of time in my life...with kp and my future kids.
I moved to Melb since last century which was hmmm, late 1999 or early 2000...and yeah if you ask me has this place been ever changed, I definitely let you know undoubtably this place hasn't been changed that much externally but it's becoming more multicutural.. I am very pround the mayor or should I say the ex-mayor of city of Melb John So is Chinese.. I'm proud that my 2nd hometown got one of the 10 most grand train stations in the world which is Southern Cross Station (previously Spencer St) and here got the largest TAFE Homesglen.. yet the largest shopping mall in Australia is also located here..which is Chadstone, and kekeke, the largest casino in Asia-Pacific region is also operated in Melb...good or bad.. how many people have ever degenerated in this Crown Casino..This time I went to Melb by myself first and later on kp joined me there for the last 4days.
I got plenty of time to visit most of the places where I spent most of my time in Melb either alone or with my mates. Here are a few highlights and with a blink of eyes it's been at least 2 years...(federation square)

Flinders st station,

(the most historical station in its CBD, I still vividly remember the 2nd day after I arrived Melb back to more than 8 years ago, I took train to city by myself and there are altogether 5 train stations in CBD and only about 15 mins walking between any 2 stations and I remember I got off in Melb Central and by its name I was pretty sure it was Melb's CBD and after 1hour wandering in city I supposed to take train back home and I couldn't find the way back to Melb Central and I asked someone saying where is the station and end up being told to go ahead the station is just around the corner.. and when I reached the corner I quickly realised that was Flinders and was not the station when I came...damn)

Story in Albany (continue...)

I believe my blog regarding about last trip to Esperance and Albany has not been continued for a while due to my visit to Melb recently. Anyway, what is the story after we hit Albany with the broken Fiesta. The next day was Sunday and the only two panel beaters were not open so we got chance to visit the neighbouring town Denmark! yes, Denmark a country not the one in Western Europe but the one in Western Australia where the tree top walk locates. Kp got some wonderful shots here from our trip back to last year. Thanks kp...

The next day Kiki and kz had to go back to Perth first to catch their flight back to Melb. So kp and myself had to stay in Albany to clear up the mess.

(This is where kz took the coach back to Perth, that was basically we farewelled with each other before they headed back to Melb)

( This is the coach from Albany to Perth, 7 hours man! $50 one way)

After farewelled to our friends, we went back to panel beater to see our little babe sniff~sniff~.

This is where our little baby stayed for the weekend. He's so sick that had to stay here to wait for his doctor and as his parents, the poor us had to stay there to wait for a quote of his medical cost!

while we were waiting for the quote of the medical cost, Kp and me got the time to explore the town which we never got any chance to take a closer look.

Finally we got our little babe's medical bill...which is xxxx...and sadly, the poor us can't afford it, very reluctantly we had to make this decision to part from our little angel...someone in the panel beater paid xxxx for the ownership of him...sorry baby, mum and dad are so sorry to you...

That was how we came back to Perth leaving our angel behind but he will be living in our heart forever...

Let us mourn our most beautiful baby with deep grief once again...

Where to go next?

During this period time of job hunting I am thinking about my honeymoon destination (if I go). There are so far a few places came up into my mind and they are (according to my preference)
1. Western Europe ( to see the history, andddd taste the food and culture, yahhhh, see Hermes~o^_^)
2. Japan and Taiwan (Fooooddddd and fashion, and I don't know, I only feel that place is where my heart wanna go, oh yeah, disneyland !!)
3. Lijiang Yunan Province in China ( I want my cap, and I just wanna find out why people all choose this place to be their holiday destination)
4. Dubai (7 star hotel!! )
5. Alice Spring and Broome ( together with Tasmania, they are the only 3 main places I have never touched down esp I am now in Perth, should go Broome)
6. Southern island of New Zealand (more than 10 people say that part is the most beautiful placein the world why why why)
7. Tasmania (the nearest overseas)

In Melb

Since many of you found that my newly established blog has not been updated for long, I have to say that I am currently in Melb where we gonna reside after wedding mainly for job hunting...kakaka..

Wedding Preparation is On Track

So far we've done
1) place has been booked for both ceremony and reception. Both will be in Bridgeleigh in Wanneroo.
2) Invitation cards are being sent out.
3) Wedding bouquets have been ordered from ebay they gonna be silk instead of real since our wedding will be in a summer season and normally for such a season real flowers will not be able to last long. They gonna be tullip in red+ cream for bride and pink+ cream for bridesmaids.
4) Wedding gowns and dresses for bridesmade, maid of honor, ushers have been made.
5) cake... we denied the idea of getting a wedding cake so our wedding will probably be the first wedding without a wedding cake for majority of our guests...hahaha, the reason we are doing so is a) too expensive.. 500+ for a two tier cake; 700+ for three tier ones and 1000+ for cup cake; b) I don't believe that cake will be very popular at 11pm for many guests. c) I personally don't like cake more because of weight concious...
6) Worship songs have been chosen.
7) Limo has been booked.
8) Ring pillow already in my wardrobe
9) Chair cover...no more! as I think to myself a chair is only a chair no matter how I decorate it, it won't be able to provide more functions than a chair can do.
10) Photographer and vediographer's done!
11) Wedding band done!
On ths stage, we are still looking for the music and hairdressor and makeups... and I hope there are won't be more hiccups for the wedding preparations.KEKEKEKEKE

Time In Albany

We originally planned to stay in Albany for 1 night only as car accident was not a part of our plan and that was why on the morning for the next day we were excluded from the apartment and thanks to kp's laptop and the wireless card, made our trip a lot more easier... we could be able to use internet as long as the place was covered by telstra network. Here were the couple and kp that were looking for accommodation online while waiting for our rental Tarago to be delivered. (ps, this apartment is called Albany Apartmens on Albany Hwy, for those who are going down to Albany next time, can book this one I feel it very comfortable, $149 per night that you get 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds and 2 single beds, one living room with sofa aircon, and dinner table, full kitchen 2 bathrooms with 1 spa! plus very thoughtful staff working there)
40mins later accommodation's been booked online and here we go the rental Tarago came...

So after kp's Ford has been damaged we had to solve the issue immediately in Albany before going back Perth. k, first choice, get the car repaired and after that sell it at a market value or continue using it; choice two was to sell it as what it was like at that moment without doing anything with it. And I must say I personally prefer the 2nd choice...sell it in Albany forget to tow it back to Perth although there would be more options if we got it back to Perth. Obviously kp missed his little babe and the poor thing was sent to one of the panel beaters in Albany by the truck driver (this place altogether got 2 panel beaters) and we went to the panel beater to catch probably the very last or second last glimpse...you can see the bumper's dropped and one of the headlights' gone and the fan's missing...the poor babe's so sick that had to stay there to wait for his doctor to diagnose on Monday and...what's more..kp didn't buy the medical insurance for the poor thing..

Tiger Airway Is On Sale!!

Esperance to Albany: Good fortune in the midst of bad

With an ominous presentiment, four of us left Esperance for Albany which is the fourth largest city in this state locating on the southern coast and is home for 34,000 residents.

kz was driving this round and kp sat next to him in the car, we 2 girls sat at the back. Nothing was unusal. kz drove at a speed of130kph plus since no vehicle can be found along the road for hours and I didn't see any speed limit sign along the way either..Three of us fell asleep after a long day in the beach...all of a sudden at about 7pm, 180 km away from our destination, I felt the speed was changed, it seemed something was in front and kz quickly put on the brake..with our least expectation... we hit the kangeroo! The animal died on the spot and my darling kp's favourite little Ford damaged!! With kz's disbelief kp announced another news ''the car is not insured'' .....
K, time to let you know the environment at that moment, in the middle of nowhere, we, 4 people altogether have 5 mobile phones, 1 with testra network, 2 with optus and 2 with Hutchison 3G, none of them got signals!! As if it was not part of Australia..oh yeah, at that particular minute it started thundering..

With common sense the only thing we could do was to see if there were any other vehicle passed by and to seek their assistance! And I know God will make a way where there is no way! After 20 minutes waiting 2 cars passed by and they are local inhabitants (their houses are 10km away) who know the place very well and yah they helped us to contact someone (wondering why their phone was covered by telstra network!) whose job is to tow the damaged vehicles out to the town. Another 40 minutes later the truck driver arrived and another 2 hours later we, both us and the broken car got to Albany...at a towing cost of $450....and it was almost midnight!Believe or not the two cars passed by were the only 2 cars we saw along the way in the following 3 hours!
Thank God at that moment I felt surprisingly calm what I did was get out of the car and took the pictures for every detail and kept them filed.

(This is kp's damaged babe that has been treasured by him for months, sniff!)

(road condition! has been like this for the last three hours from Esperance)

( the truck finally came to the rescue)

( We arrived our apartment in Albany at almost midnight)

Being 'lucky' or hell fire?

The weather in Esperance was overcast and I was wondering was it a bad sign. As I blogged, we've been to all the beaches in Esperance and the rest was taunt...
There is a bay which is named 'Lucky Bay'...is told to be very famous by tourism....of course we shall go simply by its name, and I was telling kp on the way that I was hoping after visiting this bay I would be able to get job offers even without sending CV...and we thought we got there....and we got off the car and ran to the bay in order to be tainted with enough luck.
We took most number of photos here around this bay.

...I was soo exerciting till I realized a mistake has been made...Boy! this is not Lucky Bay but named Hell Fire Bay....
Boy oh boy, is this a sign or I am just too superstitious..and what a coincidence something happened later on that day!
We set out hastily from Esperance at about 3pm.... and how come I still felt gloomy overall..

Esperance

After less than 40 mins break in Wave Rock we headed off Esperance. Okay, guess not many of you have ever heard about this country town, this Esperance locates at WA's southeast coast, and is one of the places with lowest population density in the world. Say the population is roughly 15,000 with an area about 43,000 sq km...I saw plenty of the land and scenery wasted and I so much want to import some human resources from China to get it balanced.kiding...What to see in Esperance ....beach and bay...since it has 400 km of coastal line....fairly enough...
Thanks to kp booked us a 2-bedroom villa. It absolutely got everything, such as 2 bedrooms with wardrobes, double beds, single bed, a very clean bathroom with toilet paper and towel, kitchen with full set of kitchenware and all of these only cost us $96 per night in total...( Here is the villa we stayed in Esperance, worth the value heh?)

We arrived Esperance before dark so we had to go out the following morning. Of cours Esperance is to see the different beaches.

Wave Rock

This past weekend was a really fun but special one Kev got some day offs and we together with the couple from Melb head off this coastal town called Esperance via Wave Rock. K, let me give you some ideas of this state first. Western Australia (WA) as which the capital is Perth the largest state in Australia the area I guess eaquals a quater of the total area of China with a population of merely 1.28million. ~~ Don't tell me here is too far away from the mainstream, nah, I'm still proud to be a Western Australian as I tell ya this is REAL Australia that you can never taste in either Sydney or Melb. kekeke..okay, this day one trip was overall very smooth, we decided to drive Kevin Pang (kp)'s newly bought Ford Fiesta for the whole trip so two Kevs can take turns to drive. We left Perth at around 11am and in orfer to get Esperance which is 760km away before dark we decided to share the speeding ticket afterwards..The first stop on this day was Wave Rock, by its name, is a rock which is as magnificent as wave and no more than that. I can't understand why people travel 3 hours (no views on the way) simply for such a rock if not going furthur to Esperance. The rock is in the middle of nowhere and I tell ya there is even nobody work there such as selling ticket or something. We have to buy ticket throught this kind of machine...
Any way, ticket is cheap, $7 per vehicle...

Here is the rock,

Joyful to see the water as like a camel in the desert......

Down South

Since our friends who have known for many years Kevin Zhao(kz) and his Mrs, Kiki came over to Perth from Melb we decided to take them somewhere around in order to be good hosts. I remember after the couple touched down Perth the first impression they had towards this place is spacious even in the peak hour there are not many cars can be seen in the main roads. And they got even more surprised after I told them that Coles and Woolies close at 6pm on weekdays and the whole city close on Sunday since they thought Melb is already a country town in general. Anyway, the following morning our first stop was down south, Busselton via Mandurah, 3 hours driving from my place in Perth. They got even more shocked as after that day trip they realized that travel in WA means long hour driving, when I say long hour driving means at least three hours plus. Surprise or not as for such a distance in Vic you are already able to travel from melb to another state such as NSW. kekeke alright, photos photos photos!
